Photo Shoot and the Bug Garden

This is a quick post of some photos i took recently. They're a bit mixed up... some are from a class field trip and some are from a family photo shoot I did. I left them small because there are so many... but if you want to see it a little bigger simply click on the image.

Can you come do a family photo shoot for us! We miss you!

That last one is disorienting. Is that only using a wide angle or is the landscape like that?

charissa, i'd love to do a family shoot with you guys...

hektiklyfe, actually the lens is just my favorite little 50mm. the structure is sort of a man made cement hill and i had them jump off of it. now that you mention it, it does look sort of like a fish-eye or wide angle.

These are awesome! I like the two path-walking ones. Have you done many photo shoots with people?

I noticed though that the people weren't distorted so I was a little amazed at the quality of your processing if it was in fact a fish eye lens you were using.

By the way, do you use Facebook at all?

-travis, this was my first "official paid" photoshoot. i have done some other family pictures as well as some college graduation portraits. oh, and a few weddings, but nothing official.

i'm finding that good pictures are less about the camera and more about the people skills needed to help the subjects relax.

-thanks, ginny. i love when people love my photos.

People skills is definitely something I need to work on.

The reason I asked about facebook is because there is a little photography group that goes by the name of "The Facebook Phocus Group" that you may find interesting. ;)

Yeah. Glad you got it. A lot of people didn't and kept trying to correct the spelling. XD

An explanation had to be posted...
