I was waiting for the bus, when I heard some childish laughter from across the street. I glanced up and had to smile. Three little girls and one little boy were running down the sidewalk holding their umbrellas over their heads. Which would have been perfectly normal... except that all of their umbrellas were inside out. They were catching the rain as it fell.
The boy even stood under a tree and kicked it so that water would fall into his umbrella.
One little girl pulled down the middle piece on her umbrella and suddenly it was fixed. Then with a laugh, she whipped it through the air and it was inside out once again.
I really wanted to try it, but I thought I might not have their skill, and I'd probably end up with a broken umbrella.
I also really wanted to take a picture, but I didn't have my camera, hence, the written "picture".

Your picture of words could quite vividly be seen in the canvas of my imagination. And I enjoyed it. You should give your picture a title...
As to whether or not your umbrella would have broken had you tried to invert it yourself, one cannot say for sure. But I do know the wind will turn it inside out for you if the day is gusty enough and you happen to hold the handle of the umbrella straight into the wind. :)
I've been home for 3 weeks and just now caught up on your blog. It's great to still stay somewhat connected even though I'm back in the USA now... I'm so glad you continue to post!
Culture shock is in full swing and I'm having a hard time - hoping to blog about it soon once I can organize my crazy, irrational (and rational) thoughts. Yikes!
that made me smile! =)
